Silver Recovery Unit Kodak 100F is a self-contained, fully automatic unit which recovers silver from used photographic chemistry. Waste chemistry is collected in the integral holding tank and when sufficient solution is contained, a level sensor activates the transfer pump and the solution is delivered into the empty plating cell. Electrolysis proceeds for a preset time during which the solution is agitated by the recirculation pump. A high current power supply is used to recover the silver as rapidly as possible. At the end of the plating cycle the unit automatically discharges the cell contents to drain and the cell is then ready to receive the next batch. The silver flake produced is typically 98% pure. The unit has been removed from a working One Hour Photo when the owner retired. It is sold as is. Local pickup is free. Contact me for a shipping cost if desired.
