The modular system allows infinite camera mounting positions and the flexibility to custom configure the mount to meet the requirements of those challenging shots. Included are 3 x one, two and three foot arms that can be used in any combination at the same time. You will capture truly remarkable perspectives and make the viewer feel as if they are a part of the shot. The ultra reliable Cinemount™ is custom designed and engineered with high-quality, durable components to last a lifetime. Vacuum Cup (not suction)
The vacuum cup employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth’s atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force. Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, this vacuum cup uses a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching surface thus creating a much more reliable hold.
Safety
The vacuum cup’s pump features a plunger with a red line, which serves as a visual vacuum indicator. This safety device is recognized as one of the most reliable warning systems available. A few strokes of the plunger seal the cup securely to the attaching surface. When the cup is attached completely, the plunger stops moving and the red line is hidden within the pump. A visible red line indicates that air has leaked back into the pad, making vacuum insufficient to use the cup. The cup has a built in air filter to keep impurities out of the pump and also comes with a plastic cup protector for when it is not in use. We always recommend the use of a safety tether on all camera mounts.
Built with Monfrotto / Avenger components and leveling system topped off with 5/8” stainless steel rods and filtered vacuum cups, quality came first.
