Brand new never used Leica Noctilux-M lens. Limited edition. Only 100 pieces will be made. Box has been opened by the Belgium importer to include the Belgium import certificate. I opened it to take pictures of the lens. This is the 1st one on eBay. As you probably all heard Leica will stop the production of the Leica 50mm f1 Noctilux lenses. The last Noctilux lenses are being sold as a special edition in a lacquered box with dehumidifying function to protect the lens. The box is being made in Elie Bleu Tabletier near Paris France. The box is made of the finest woods: Guarea for the body of the box and French cedar for the veneered surfaces. The lacquer is made of ten coats and is alternately ground and polished in seven steps to make sure the finish is perfect. All metal fittings are covered with 2N gold plating. The interior is made of Italian Alcantara.
This special edition will be supplied with a high quality leather bound book with gilt edging which tells the story and features a description of the art of the lens design.
As said brand new directly from Leica. Of course 6-bit coded already and ready to use on your M8. |
