My description: I purchased this Meade 8" LX200 EMC Schmidt Cassegrain telescope NEW from a Meade Dealer in Altamonte Springs, Florida several years ago with the intention of taking it to our cabin in NC. That never happened. As I read over the instruction manual, I quickly realized that I was not computer savvy enough to figure this thing out. Other than to take it out of the box to look at it, it has never been used. The electronics have never been hooked up. Until today, for the purpose of taking pictures of it, it has been stored in its original boxes in a closet in our home. It is in mint condition
