Upon some research on the website, here is some info about this lens:

This lens is one of the very rare ASPHERICAL 35mm f/1.4 Summilux lenses, not the often-seen ASPH version. Leica originally promised between 1000 and 2000 of these lenses, but delivered much less. The final number is estimated at c. 700, making it a very rare lens indeed.

The ASPHERICAL Summilux-M 35 features TWO hand-ground aspherical elements, opposed to only one aspherical element (machine pressed) in the ASPH lenses. It is believed that the added complexity of producing the hand-ground elements was the main reason for Leica's short production run on these lenses.

Characteristics of the ASPHERICAL lenses, when compared to ASPH versions, feature better flare resistance, resolving power, and sharper images. These traits, coupled with the extreme rarity of these lenses, make this an extremely collectible lens.
