You are bidding on a 2004 Sea doo Speedster. This boat has has been used in fresh water only. I have upgraded the stereo to Pioneer, cd, EP3 player jack and speakers. It comes with a Tower and trailer.
The motors have been under water but were pickled as soon as I put the boat on the trailer. The port engine overheated due to a baseball cap being sucked up through the intake. This melted the heat sensor and water came through the sensor hole and the boat started sinking. We were able to pull the boat before the battery or electrical were submerged.
To my knowledge everthing else is in great condition. There is no hour meter, but I am 48 years old and do not water ski. I basically used it to joy ride in the river, usually slow and listing to stereo. I am going to purchase a pontoon boat...(more my style) I bought this boat last year from a friend that rarely used it. He had a 14 year old son that thought he had to have it and then didn't learn to ski very well.
I checked with a "High Performance" a jet motor rebuild shop and they said that since the motors were pickled and they went under "fresh" water, they could be rebuilt farely inexpensivly.
