Vintage Kodak Duaflex II rare Kodar f8 72mm w/flash
For Auction: One Vintage Kodak Duaflex II camera with flash. The flash reflector has some dents in it and the leatherette panel at the top of the camera need to be re-glued. Aside from that, this fine old camera could use a good cleaning to make a great mid-century collectable display. I just learned that current medium format film can be used in this camera if the film is wound onto the original Kodak 620 spools also, www.filmforclassics.com is supposed to have the correct film. I have also learned that the typical variety of this camera has a lesser lens... a fixed mount lens. This particular sample has a Kodar f8 72mm adjustable lens that even by today's standards is pretty sharp. There is a focus scale from 5 feet to infinity and three aperture adjustments... f/8, f/11, and f/16. The camera could use a good cleaning before attempting to use or placing on display.
