Let me begin by saying I know nothing about camera's..............I love my digital, point and shoot...I digress............this camera was purchased at an estate..........it was in good working order when last used in 1996.
It is a Leica M3 - 776 486, DBP, Ernst Leitz, GMBH, Wetzlar, Germany is what is written on the top of the camera. It comes with a light meter....Leica, Meter M, Made in Germany,040800. It has a small black lens that was on the camer but I think the lens is missing? Another lens that says: "Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar, Elmar f-9cm 1:4 Nr. 1355532. 2 leather cases.........a large leather case that shows some wear but not bad and then a small leather case that the camera only fits into.
The camera is in good USED condition.........I have tried to show close-ups/ if you need more photo's or have questions please email me/ I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. No reserve..........
Also a book, Leica Manual by Willard D. Morgan & Henry M. Lester copyright 1951/ 12 edition (2nd. printing), august 1951........tells you EVERYTHING you need to know (about this camera, not life)............
