Back in my newspaper photography days, I used to use a rapid-feed negative carrier like this to scan through negatives on deadline. You can take your uncut strip of film and feed it through the enlarger and quickly examine each frame as it is projected on the easel.
The two halves of the negative carrier are joined by a spring hinge that raises the upper half when you lift the enlarger condenser. You can move the film along without removing the carrier from the enlarger.
This one fits a D-series Omega enlarger and is for 2-1/4” x 3-1/4” negatives on 120 rollfilm. Two of the pins that guide the film are broken off, but the carrier is still usable if you're careful. The carrier is very clean except for a few stain spots on the top.
PLEASE NOTE: The auction is for only the negative carrier, not the enlarger shown in two of the photos. They're just there to show how the thing works.
CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS! I’ve been buying but not selling for the past two months, and I have a lot of stuff to sell, including a number of cameras and many accessories, especially flash gear and film holders. Buy a lot. I’ll combine shipping where possible.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: I prefer PayPal, but will accept a US Postal Service money order from U.S. buyers only. No checks of any kind, including e-checks. International buyers must use PayPal or bank wire transfer. I won’t end an auction early for you or sell the item outside EBay. First-time bidders are welcome, but I may reject bidders with a negative history.
RETURNS: I use lots of photos and try to describe items thoroughly and truthfully, so I don’t accept returns unless I’ve somehow misrepresented the item.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: I try to be on good terms with the whole world, so I’ll ship anywhere if you’re willing to pay the price. I usually ship via USPS International Priority mail, but will ship inexpensive items via First Class if you’re willing to take the risk.
Because of extra paperwork and trips to the post office, I add $5 to the actual shipping cost, except for buyers in France and Lithuania, who pay only the actual cost. Buyer is responsible for customs duties and other fees in his country.
