The DayLab 300 was originally made for the person who did not have a true DARKROOM but still wanted to make up to 8x10 inch enlargements from 35mm slides. Everything could be done in normal room light using the box this came in to load color printing paper into the enlarging base. Wonderful idea that never really caught on and whose time has passed with the advent of this thing I'm sitting at writing this auction up. Someone eventually realized that the color enlarging head would be great when used with POLAROID 669 Pack Film for making "instant" copies of slides with the ability to make color adjustments. Then the "artists" of you out there found out that some Polaroid film could be peeled apart and the image could be transfered to other mediums. As they say; "The rest is history."Includes the color head, "Daylab Instant Slide Enlarger" Polaroid base, power supply, original enlarging system instructions and Daylab color test slide. Everything seems to work fine, focus, exposure times, color filters. Rollers are clean and may have only been used 7 times because the film pack in it is on #8 and I don't see any real wear from use.
P.S. I am only selling what you see because it's easy to ship. BUT, I have the complete outfit for enlarging which I'm quite sure was never used and is still in the processing box. I would send it all to you IF you are willing to pay the additional shipping costs AND a $20- "I don't have a big enough box and don't really want to drive around for hours looking for one and pack this thing up." fee.

If the photo or description is wrong, please let me know. 35mm film box, if shown, is for scale only.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING; eBay changed the shipping rules again making it HARDER for me to specify the actual cost. I MAY charge a bit LESS for shipping if you are close to California. I will NOT overcharge for shipping, but, I may add a bit for materials. I want you to be SATISFIED with what you pay for delivery. RETURNS; I have tried my best to describe any auction items. If you feel an item is not as described and we are not able to reach an understanding as to condition it may be returned, at your expense, after notification. There may be a $5- or 10%, whichever is higher, restocking fee. WANT TO BUILD, a home darkroom for very little money? Send a note and let me know what you want or need. LOOKING, for some little photographically related items? Ask if you like and I'll look when I can. | One of my favorite roads in Southern California. |
