Center column adjusts up to 53 1/2" high, so you can have the perfect height for just about application. The head tilts in every direction, INCLUDING STRAIGHT DOWN! (great for eBay pictures!). It even has a provision (an extra pivot point) that will allow you to take picture vertically (picture is taller than it is wide). Most other tripods will not allow you to take vertical pictures.
