Tonight I am listing 1 Leica Camera and 2 Leica Lenses and 10 early Leica Accessories from my 91 year old friends collection!
*************************
Here is what my friend wrote about this item:
"This is a Model, III-F, 1933-40, #207731- - with HEKTOR 50mm, "2.5" (LIKE NEW!)
NEVER taken apart, NEVER repaired- - and NEVER "fooled around with"! UNBELIEVABLE CONDITION for ANYTHING 70 years old! EXCEPTIONAL GENERAL APPEARANCE as pictures will show- - and almost impossible lack of "edge wear" around both the top and bottom indicating life long care. Together with seemingly flawless black covering, it truly has a "NEW-LOOK" but for a single UNUSUAL wear area INSIDE the accessory clip- - which should not be difficult to "retouch" away if desired. Shutter, rangefinder, and winding knob all appear to work and viewfinder glass is clear. NO MARKS on bottom, or strap eyes, or take-up spool- - this was some sort of "INDOOR PET"!
THE LENS ALONE IS A COLLECTOR’S FRONT-LINE "WISH-I-HAD"!
LEICA’S first response to demands for more SPEED- - so not many were made, and THIS one looks OFF-THE-SHELF! IT IS DEFINITELY RARE IN THIS CONDITION- - AND I PONDERED SELLING IT SEPARATELY!!! Elements are clear to the edges, outer surfaces show no faults whatever- - AND it’s calibrated in FEET- - AND IT’S MY LAST "HEKTOR TWO-FIVE"! I’d become fond of those "gaping Elmars" - - but the "SUMMAR" came and gave it quick scarcity and fame! TAKE WARNING! IF YOU LOVE BLACK ENAMEL! TAKE WARNING! IT’S DISAPPEARING
!"
******************
THIS BEAUTIFUL CAMERA WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION!
(In the close-up photo of the front of the lens, the photo shows a light spot on the upper right corner of the black covering. This spot is just a light reflection and is not on the camera.)

I am listing these cameras for my 91 year old friend who needs to sell his wonderful Leica collection. He does not own a computer and is amazed at the whole computer process, but he does know his cameras. .. If you have any questions please e-mail or call me at 701-280-1413 or 701-293-0234 and I will pass any questions I can not answer to my friend. Good Luck and Happy Bidding! Thanks, Mike
The winning bidder has 3 days to inspect this and return it for a full refund, except shipping, if not happy. I have 100% positive feedback and have been selling on ebay since 1998. PLEASE BID NOW and KEEP WATCHING PHONOMIKE for more GREAT camera items this month!
SHIPPING & ebays shipping calculator: Winning bidders are frequently from outside the US. The shipping box must be large enough for the official USPS international shipping envelope (that contain the customs forms) to fit on the box, so I have calculated all camera items for a 12X12X8 priority box. (Ebays calculator does not allow for one size box within US and another size for outside the US) If the winning bidder is inside the US I can ship the tiny items in the 7X7X6 priority box, which usually cost less than the shipping calculator will show for the larger size, so if US winning bidders wait for me to send a new invoice on the very small items I will send an invoice for a more correct ship cost. International bidders: Please remember any import tax you may need to pay at your customs office when determining how much to bid. Shipping insurance is required on all expensive items and the Post Office now requires a signiture confirmation (USPS cost $1.80) for items insured for over $250.00 if covered by insurance. For items sold for over $500.00 (the on-line max for both Paypal and USPS) I often use U-Pic on line shipping insurance to cover any amount over $500.00. Shipping insurance can not be used for all countries through U-Pic, so for those I must go take the package to the Post Office in Person... for me a trip to the Post Office usually means trying to find a parking spot, standing in long lines and a minimum of an hours time. Some countries have on-line limits of $400.00 for shipping insurance. I use U-Pic for any amount over the limit whenever possible to avoid going to the Post Office. I WELCOME ALL INTERNATIONAL and US BIDDERS! Best Regards, Mike

On Dec-04-08 at 16:07:30 PST, seller added the following information:We just received an email telling us: "The serial number makes it a Leica III, manufactured in 1936. The Leica IIIf is a much newer model, post war, with flash sync. "
THANK YOU KIND EMAILER!
THIS IS NOT A LEICA IIIf !
IT IS A LEICA III !!!
Best Regards, Mike
