In addition to its compact size, the HVR-Z1E boasts a number of features over consumer-oriented products making it ideal for the professional user. The HVR-Z1E is equipped with a 3CDD HD 1080i in 16:9 Widescreen-viewfinder and more than 1 million megapixels for a resolution of 1440 x 1080 by using the technology "spatial offset". It also integrates the DXP processeur (Digital eXtended Processor), HD 14 bits of high precision assuring an A/D 14 bits conversion. The high definition Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens on the HVR-Z1E, with it's optical 12x zoom, guaranties exceptional high definition pictures witout any trace of chromatic abberration!
