This is a wonderful little 35mm film footage counter from the 1920s. These were used both by projectionists in more advanced theatres as well as film editors and lab technicians.
This little gem is in good original condition. It shows some wear and chipping to the black enamel paint. Also the glass in front of the numbers has a couple of cracks. Otherwise it is in very good shape. It is incredibly well made with quality machine work throughout. Note that the dial cylinders are made of machined steel with the numbers engraved into the metal.
The overall lenght of the device is 4.5'' It is in good working order. I have two of these in my collection and just love them. They are great to display on a desk or shelf and are sure to start a conversation. More vintage movie and theatre memorabilia in my other auctions, and more to be listed tomorrow night.
